Jaeger conceived the idea behind the Reverso case in the 1930's as a way to protect the dial during polo matches. The ingenious idea included a design that allows the case to flip, revealing its case back and protecting the dial from hard hits. The Reverso is also characterized by an Art Deco style, pairing a precious metal rectangular case with Arabic font in a matching style. A supple leather bracelet is masculine while maintaining a sophisticated style for a dress watch that is suitable for daily wear, business attire, or even formal wear.
