The 1950s were an important decade for women's Rolex watches that saw the introduction of both the ladies Oyster Perpetual and the Lady-Datejust. Successful in their own right, both of these models continue to be highly sought-after timepieces on the used Rolex market. The ref. 79174 that is presented here today is a stainless steel and white gold variation of the Lady-Datejust that also features a gorgeous salmon dial topped with Roman hour markers, a fluted bezel in white gold, and a supple five-piece link Jubilee bracelet. As a Datejust timepiece, the ref. 79174 also offers waterproofness up to 100 meters and runs on a chronometer-rated perpetual movement.
