The Speedmaster "Moon Watch" is to Omega as the Submariner is to Rolex and the Navitimer is to Breitling, a true icon of the brand. An impressive chronograph, the Speedmaster is equipped with a Tachymeter bezel and chronograph functions that can be used by the wearer to measure incredible speeds. It was because of these features that the Speedmaster was chosen as the watch of NASA's astronauts, resulting in its presence during all six lunar missions and earning it its impressive nickname "Moon Watch". While its history is certainly impressive, what makes the Moon Watch such a popular choice among collectors is the use of a versatile stainless steel finish and striking black dial and bezel. The newer pre-owned Omega that is presented here today features improved materials, such as a Hesalite crystal over the dial, a calibre 1861 mechanical movement, and brighter luminous material.
*All Pre-Owned Omega watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
I've wanted a Moonwatch for over 20 years since I saw one in a space magazine in elementary school. I finally own one and couldn't be happier. Using the NATO strap until I can get several links removed from the metal band, but oddly enough I actual really like the NATO strap...
