Omega Megaquartz
Omega developed the MegaQuartz movement in 1974. At the time of its release, it was the first wristwatch to receive the distinction "Marine Chronometer," distinguished by routine variation of less than 0.002 seconds per day. The Omega 196.0036 is a handsome example of the MegaQuartz watch featuring a sleek stainless steel finish, curved lines, and a matching bracelet. The silver dial exudes a very distinctive retro aesthetic with a red Omega logo at 12 o'clock, older-style hour markers and hands, and creamy luminescent material in a warmer hue. It's a truly unique addition to any watch collection.
