The Omega Speedmaster "Moon Watch" was famously present during the first moon landing, earning it its intriguing nickname. The official timepiece of NASA, the Omega Speedmaster has since accompanied astronauts on every lunar mission. Iconic, timeless, and incredibly functional, the Speedmaster tops the lists of many avid luxury watch collectors' wish lists. The ref. 3220.127.116.11.01.005 that you see here today features a 42mm case worn on a matching stainless steel bracelet and secured by a folding clasp, a black dial topped with luminous plots and chronograph registers, a sleek 500-kilometer Tachymeter bezel, and a Hesalite crystal. Within the waterproof case beats a calibre 1861 manual-winding movement with a 48-hour power reserve and chronograph function.
