As its name would suggest, the Divers Sixty-Five is a heritage watch that pays homage to a diver that was produced by Oris in 1965. Released 50 years later at Basel World 2015, the reimagined model stays true to the style that made this particular diver such as success while also including an impressive list of modern upgrades. The dial is vintage-inspired, displaying the time via "light old radium" Superluminova hour markers and hands in a faux patina hue. A bezel with similar markings and font frames the dial and now offers a unidirectional design for a safer reading while in the water. The newer preowned Oris also features a tough stainless steel finish, a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating, and an Oris calibre 733 automatic movement with a Sellita SW200-1 base and a 36-hour power reserve.
*All Pre-Owned Oris watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The watch has a nice throwback / vintage look, and well finished case. The textile strap is nato-like in appearance with a deployment clasp - easy to adjust and quite comfortable to wear. The watch runs well, accurate, and should be dependable (Oris caliber 733, based on the Sellita 200-1) Influencing the overall rating was the cost, the watch was "used", new in box - made it hard to pass up.
