To commemorate the last moon landing in 1972, Omega released a limited edition "Apollo XVII" Speedmaster Moonwatch. Limited to quantities of only 1,972, this example of the iconic Moonwatch is a hot collector's item with an incredible connection to the history of space exploration. Its feature set includes a stunning blue ceramic bezel adorned with a Ceragold™ Tachymeter scale, a matching blue ceramic bezel with a gold display and Superluminova plots, and a stainless steel finish. The sub-dial at the 9-hour marker features the moon as well as the God Apollo. Additionally, "05:34 GMT" is printed on the dial and represents the exact time that man took his final steps on the moon, and the case back is adorned with engravings that read "45th Anniversary - Limited Edition - production number" as well as an Apollo XVII patch as a tribute to Gene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon.
