Pre owned Rolex Sea Dweller Deep Sea Model 116660
Rolex's collection of professional series dive watches is varied. From a 300 meter to an incredible 3,900-meter depth rating, the brand's selection of deep saturation divers rivals some of the world's most well-known dive watches. The ref. 116660 that you see here today is a member of the DeepSea line that came to market in 2008. The ref. 116660 was the line's inaugural reference and was the first timepiece in the Rolex catalog to offer an increased depth rating of up to 3,900 meters.
Unlike other dive watches in the brand's lineup, the DeepSea is equipped with a thicker 5.5mm sapphire crystal and a Ring Lock System, which, in addition to the waterproof screw-down crown, screw-down titanium case back, and Helium Escape Valve, allow it to keep time further below the surface of the sea than ever before. If you seek the DeepSea for its dive watch aesthetic, rather than its depth rating, you won't be disappointed. This reference boasts a very desirable "Cerachrom" ceramic bezel insert, 904L Oystersteel, and a larger maxi display on the dial.
