The Rolex 114200 is a contemporary example of the Oyster Perpetual Air-King that features a new-style Oyster case with slightly more rounded lugs than older variations of the line, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, 904L Oystersteel, and an engraved rehaut. The case maintains a similar all-steel finish as the inaugural 1940s model and still wears on a traditional, flat-link Oyster bracelet. This ref. 114200 also features a matching silver dial topped with small Roman hour and door stop markers, central sweeping hands, and a Rolex logo prominently positioned at the 12-hour marker. The Air-King is a popular entry-level option among avid collectors and brings with it a very competitive price.
