Kicking off right before the 90th Monaco Grand Prix, Bob’s Watches is delighted to partner with Sotheby’s to offer The Rolex Daytona Capsule Collection, a curated selection of 13 superb timepieces that have become synonymous with the world of motor racing.
The specially curated selection spans the entire history of Rolex’s legendary chronograph, from an early 1947 ‘pre-Daytona’ reference 4500, considered to be the first Oyster Chronograph in existence, to the highly coveted Rolex Daytona reference 116500, which caused sensation (and multi-year waitlists at retailers) upon its release in 2016. This sale offers highly collectable wristwatches with a diverse offering of dials, movements, and metals, which chronicle the major milestones of the innovative and storied history of the Rolex Daytona.
Bidding will be open exclusively online from May 24 – 30.
Like every luxury timepiece we sell at Bob’s Watches, each one of these remarkable Rolex Daytona and Pre-Daytona chronographs has been meticulously inspected and authenticated by a team of world-class experts, ensuring that every single watch sold is 100% guaranteed authentic.
