Finding the Rolex Model Number on the Rolex Paperwork

Rolex has many different model numbers, or reference numbers, for each model watch it makes.  For example, a Rolex Submariner has the following model, or reference, numbers that uniquely identify each model;

116610   116610V  116613   116618   116619

This unique model number is 4-6 digits and can be found on the paperwork that came with your Rolex watch purchase.   Please see the photos below that illustrate where these model numbers, or reference numbers as they are often called, can be found. For more information visit our page on the Rolex Model Numbers.

The Rolex Model Number can be found in multiple places.

The Rolex Model Number is a unique way to identify your watch. The 5512 and 5513 are similar, yet they have minute differences.
