Mark Hurd is one of the top ten highest paid CEOs. Hurd began his career with NCR Corporation, and worked his way all the way up the corporate ladder over the course of 25 years. He started as a junior salesman, then moved on to management and operations, and eventually served as president, COO, and CEO. After NCR, Hurd worked at Hewlett-Packard for five years, where he was named one of the 25 most powerful people in business by Fortune Magazine in 2007. Most recently, Hurd joined Oracle in 2010, where served as president for four years, and is currently co-CEO.

Datejust 116233

The Datejust is a classic 36mm watch from the Rolex lineup; perfect for a business person. It is a subtle and timeless watch that goes with both casual and dressier attire. The classic 116233 model comes standard with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, a serial engraved inner reflector ring, and a Twinlock double-sealed waterproof screw down crown, making it a sturdy and reliable watch.

Hurd’s Datejust showcases a two-tone Jubilee bracelet, which is made of Rolex’s own Oystersteel and 18 carat yellow gold. A silver dial and luminescent Index hour markers make it a sophisticated everyday watch.

Mark Hurd owns a second two-tone 116233, but this one is on an Oyster bracelet. It also has diamond hour markers outlined in yellow gold, which add a touch of elegance. A black dial offsets the diamonds brilliantly, while also providing a nice contrast to the yellow gold fluted bezel. A COSC certified 3135-caliber movement keeps perfect time and powers the 50-hour power reserve. This watch retails for $12,350, but you can own one for much less if you purchase pre-owned.

He obviously knows a thing or two about business, and its safe to say Mark Hurd has excellent taste in watches as well. If you were a CEO of a massive company like Oracle, what Rolex would you sport? Would it be a Datejust, or something more modern like a Submariner? Let us know in the comments below!
