TAG Heuer is releasing three new limited edition timepieces in honor of Ayrton Senna, the late, great Brazilian racing driver who won three Formula One world championships and 41 Grand Prix victories and is regarded as one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.<\/p>\n

Ayrton Senna<\/h2>\n

The sporty timepieces, which pay tribute to the 30th anniversary of Senna\u2019s seminal Monaco Grand Prix victory, were just unveiled at an exclusive preview during the inauguration of the new TAG Heuer<\/a> boutique in Monaco. The limited edition watches mark the first time TAG\u2019s renowned Heuer-01 proprietary movement has been paired with a Senna tribute piece.<\/p>\n

TAG Heuer Formula 1<\/h2>\n

Leading the pack is a beefy 45mm Carrera Heuer-01 chronograph in black brushed steel with red details, housing a skeleton dial and sapphire case back. The other pieces in the series are two Formula 1 models \u2013 the timepiece Senna himself favored \u2013 including a chronograph version. Both watches are 43 mm in diameter and finished in black, highlighted with touches of red.<\/p>\n

The dials feature three red lines echoing the tracks left by a speeding race car. They feature a quartz movement<\/a> accurate to a tenth of a second, in the chronograph powering the small counter at 6 o’clock, with the minute counter at 9 o’clock and the running seconds counter at 3 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n

The three watches in this limited edition feature a stylized red lacquer \u201cS Senna\u201d on the bezel, which also has a minute track. All are available with the iconic TAG bracelet with S-shaped links that Senna\u2019s own TAG watches had.<\/p>\n

On the Carrera Heuer-01 model, each link is rounded on the top, bottom and sides for an \u201cexceptionally smooth\u201d feel on the wrist, while the F1 bracelet the links are highlighted in red.
