We know Tudor does tool watches well, and we know that they have some dressier watches in their catalog, too. So it really caught our attention a when Tudor, the so-called younger sibling of Rolex, released their latest and greatest Double Date \u2018Glamour\u2019 \u2014 a dressed-up tool watch with enough variation to make your head spin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Double Trouble<\/h2>\n

Like other collections of Tudor watches<\/a>, there\u2019s quite literally a Glamour Double Date for everyone, with 20 combinations of steel and two-toned steel and yellow gold with dials ranging from silver to champagne, opaline and black. Do you like diamonds? You can have those as your hour makers too (if you choose). Of course, the variation doesn\u2019t end there \u2014 you can pick from a matching steel or two-toned bracelet as well as a variety of leather straps with folding buckles. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Glamour Double Dates look great \u2014 so great, you may be surprised to learn these watches start at around $32-hundred with the most expensive model clocking in at $4,425. The price point is so accessible we should put this watch on our Entry-Level Watches list. Not bad, especially considering that under that domed sapphire crystal and pretty face is a pretty impressive in-house automatic caliber MT5641 outfitted with modern features like a silicon balance spring and a whopping 70-hour of power reserve.\u00a0<\/span>

\n<\/span>And while all of the dials vary in color, each one is outfitted with simple hour markers (unless you go for the diamonds, that is) alongside a sub-second dial over 6-o\u2019clock. Up at the top, just under 12-o\u2019clock, you\u2019ll also see the day of the week proudly displayed in white, easy to read Arabic numerals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Double Double<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s easy to get caught up in all the different options here, but really, this is a dressed up utilitarian watch. Not only can you count the hours but the days of the week. Plus, the 42mm case is outfitted with a screw-down crown that keeps it water resistant up to 100m. You also can\u2019t ignore that the movement is COSC certified. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the day, you\u2019re getting a heck of a watch that looks much more expensive than it actually is. Not only is it packed with utilitarian features and technical complications that make it a great-working watch, but you can also get away with wearing it to the office and date night. For this reason, we\u2019re calling it Tudor\u2019s most versatile watch yet, and one we\u2019d like to get our hands-on.
