This vintage Datejust from the 1960's is in excellent condition and features a design that is instantly recognizable as a Datejust dress watch. A two-tone Jubilee bracelet made of stainless steel, 18 karat yellow gold center links, and a Fliplock clasp will fit comfortably on almost any size wrist and is paired with a 36mm Oyster case with 20mm lugs, an acrylic crystal, and a waterproof screw-down crown. Its waterproof construction offers the perfect amount of protection against everyday wear and tear for the calibre 1570 self-winding movement within the case. A handsome champagne dial matches perfectly with the two-tone construction on this dress watch and is topped with index hour markers, sweeping hands topped with Tritium lume plots, and the iconic date aperture that the Datejust is known for.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
The whole process was seamless and as promised. The watch was in perfect condition and the presentation and packaging was outstanding. The Affirm process was seamless as well. I would definitely recommend Bob's Watches and do business with them again.
Stunning good looks. The slate dial is a bit more understated than the silver, gold, or black datejust dials, which I feel is important. The dial color pairs well with the bracelet or any brown or black leather straps.
Serial Number 2801936 is the one that I own. It is a complete set with box and papers. Unlike the version, shown in the photo, I have no luminescent hands. Great timepiece and has increased in value from the $255 Price Tag from June 28,1972. P.S. Not For Sale.
