Rolex President 228238 Day-Date 40MM
While many Rolex watches are offered in gold, there are some collectors who believe that the ultimate gold Rolex is the President Day-Date. One of the newest additions to the Day-Date line is the 40mm reference 228238 that we have listed here today. In addition to offering a larger case size, this 2015 release also enjoys many modern upgrades, such as a Twinlock screw-down crown, a sapphire crystal over the dial, and a calibre 3255 perpetual movement. The movement itself is regarded as one of Rolex's most impressive modern movements and includes a more efficient skeletonized Chronergy escapement, a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, a chronometer rating, and a 70-hour power reserve. Of course, the movement is also built to include both a day and date mechanism which are prominently displayed on the dial. Rolex gold is crafted in-house, using the finest metals the world has to offer, ensuring an exterior that is just as impressive as the intricate movement. Baguette diamonds are carefully selected and hand set in yellow gold surrounds, creating a statement piece that isn't just powerful and rich but will also hold its value well.
