The Rolex 1601 Oyster Perpetual Datejust precedes the 5-digit ref. 16014 and boasts a calibre 1565 Perpetual movement that beats at a rate of 19,800 bps second and runs on automatic winding technology. This vintage stunner also features a unique silver Pie Pan dial and is topped with a thicker acrylic crystal, giving it a very desirable aesthetic that is unique to older Rolex watches. As a classic Datejust timepiece, this ref. 1601 is also equipped with a 36mm Oyster case that was once waterproof up to 100 meters, and displays the line's namesake automatically changing date display at the 3-hour marker on the dial. Worn on a five-link Jubilee bracelet and fixed with a machine-turned bezel, this preowned Rolex will quickly become the highlight of your luxury watch collection.
*All Pre-Owned Rolex watches are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and certified authentic. All watches are shipped to fit the average size wrist (7 1/4" - 7 1/2" for men and 6 1/4" - 6 1/2" for women). Additional links can be purchased if needed.
Product was as advertised.
The whole process was seamless and as promised. The watch was in perfect condition and the presentation and packaging was outstanding. The Affirm process was seamless as well. I would definitely recommend Bob's Watches and do business with them again.
Stunning good looks. The slate dial is a bit more understated than the silver, gold, or black datejust dials, which I feel is important. The dial color pairs well with the bracelet or any brown or black leather straps.
Serial Number 2801936 is the one that I own. It is a complete set with box and papers. Unlike the version, shown in the photo, I have no luminescent hands. Great timepiece and has increased in value from the $255 Price Tag from June 28,1972. P.S. Not For Sale.
