The ref. 114270 that you see here today is a newer variation of the Explorer that features a comfortable 36mm Oyster case in 904L Oystersteel, a matching three-link bracelet closed by an Oysterlock clasp, and a contrasting black dial topped with luminous hour markers and hands. The Explorer line was developed shortly after Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay reached the peak of Mount Everest and celebrates the adventurous spirit of the Rolex brand.
