One of the first references in the Submariner line to receive a modern upgrade was the Yellow Rolesor 116613. Developed in 2009, this 6-digit reference brings with it a new case and bracelet design as well as modern maxi dial and a Cerachrom bezel insert. The case maintains a 40mm diameter but is now outfitted with wider lugs for a broader stance on the wrist. The new-style Oyster bracelet features solid components that counterbalance the weight of the new case nicely for a comfortable hold. Additionally, the dial now offers a larger luminous display for an easier reading at-a-glance, and the bezel insert is now crafted from a tough ceramic material that won't scratch, fade, or corrode over time. The striking steel and gold finish is paired with blue accents, mirroring the ocean waters that the Submariner was designed to work within and also maintains an attractive mid-level Rolex Submariner price.

I owned a Rolex Datejust and decide that I wanted to trade it in for a Submariner. I checked locally but couldn't find the right model. I found several on Bob's website and called and received outstanding service. Not only was the watch I chose to be in outstanding condition but the trade-in price was at least $500 more than I was offered locally. I probably saved over $1500 with the total transaction than anywhere else I looked. The whole process was very efficient and took about three days from the time i sent my watch in for evaluation until I was wearing my submariner.
