used Tudor Heritage Black Bay 79730
The Tudor 79730 Black Bay in all-steel was presented for the first time at Basel World 2017 and boasts a desirable satin and polished stainless steel finish. If its feature set reminds you of Tudor dive watches of the past, that's because its design is partially inspired by them. Similar to older models, the crystal and dial are domed, snowflake hands sweep prominently around the dial, and a large winding crown a la ref. 7924 from 1958 ensures waterproofness of up to 660 feet or 200 meters. As a traditional diver's watch, the case is also equipped with a 60-minute rotatable bezel and displays the time via luminous plots. A flat-link bracelet with vintage-inspired rivet links creates a comfortable hold on the wrist and is secured by a folding safety clasp.

The Heritage Black Bay silver is an extremely handsome watch. I had BW ship the 79730 to my Tag- and Omega-wearing office and after the unboxing and the mandatory 'is it or isn't it a Rolex' argument, everyone fell in love with it. This Tudor is understated enough to go with anything, yet thanks the snowflake hands it's eye-catching without being tacky. Being a Rolex in all but literal name, the 79730 not only has the look and feel of a luxury eveyman's watch, it has the actual pedigree and in-house components to back it up. My personal attachent to this Black Bay grow more every day - - it simply 'fits' me - - and I would not part with it even for double the price. This watch will be an heirloom that I will eventually pass on to my son. Thank you BW for making my first luxury watch purchase stressless and enjoyable.
