Any avid watch collector can appreciate the fine details that are present on a vintage Datejust timepiece. From a gently worn fluted bezel and old-style Jubilee bracelet to a thicker acrylic crystal and a Pie-Pan dial, everything about the vintage ref. 1601 exudes the old-school Rolex charm that many collectors seek. As an older pre-owned Rolex, the case has lost some of its waterproofness but has endured over the years to protect the calibre 1570 perpetual movement that beats within the case. Stainless steel and 18 karat yellow gold offer a finish that is quite resilient while also offering an air of luxury an class without breaking the bank.

The whole process was seamless and as promised. The watch was in perfect condition and the presentation and packaging was outstanding. The Affirm process was seamless as well. I would definitely recommend Bob's Watches and do business with them again.
Stunning good looks. The slate dial is a bit more understated than the silver, gold, or black datejust dials, which I feel is important. The dial color pairs well with the bracelet or any brown or black leather straps.
Serial Number 2801936 is the one that I own. It is a complete set with box and papers. Unlike the version, shown in the photo, I have no luminescent hands. Great timepiece and has increased in value from the $255 Price Tag from June 28,1972. P.S. Not For Sale.
