The Rolex GMT-Master was first released in 1954. The 1675 was first introduced just 5 years later in 1959. Despite not being the first GMT Master model produced, it is one of the most popular versions due to its long production run and modern look. While this model comes in a few variations, it is the blue and red "Pepsi" bezel which has in part made this watch famous. Its easily recognizable design has allowed this timepiece to stand out in the vast world of luxury watches.
This particular watch comes with a gorgeous black matte "Mark IV" dial. The hour markers have aged to a lovely uniform creamy yellow color and the tritium hour hands match perfectly. The stainless steel 93150 Oyster bracelet is secured with a Fliplock clasp and attached to the watch with 501 end links. The Excellent case has pierced lugs a waterproof screw-down crown. The "Pepsi" bezel has faded to a highly collectible lighter blue and pink color. This watch is the perfect start, or addition, to any Rolex collection. The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
