Description: Cartier Tank Louis
Pre-owned Cartier Tank Louis ref W1560017 "XL Model" is one of the brand's most enduring models. The first Tank was developed during WWI and modeled after military tanks on the battlefield. Viewing the tank from above, the dial is the shape of the cockpit, and the long brancards are the treads. Today, the Tank is more commonly associated with a classic and sophisticated dress watch aesthetic. The Tank LC is among the most refined, boasting an elegant yellow gold case, supple leather strap, and Roman numeral dial decorated with sword-shaped hands. The beaded crown is decorated with a polished blue sapphire, another trademark for the Cartier brand.
