The 26mm Oyster case, which was invented by Rolex in 1926, showcases a method of screwing the case back, bezel, and crown to the middle case to offer waterproof protection up to 330 feet. Just the right amount of protection against everyday wear and tear. Within the case, lies a calibre 2235 self-winding movement. One of the best movements for ladies dress watches, the 2235 movement utilizes 31 jewels and 28,800 VPH to provide an extremely accurate reading. In addition to these impressive features is the history-making date aperture displayed at the 3-hour marker. Introduced in 1945, the date aperture was the first to display Rolex's innovative atomically winding technology. This popular feature has since become a mainstay in dress watches and is used in nearly every Rolex watch. A stainless steel Oyster bracelet and a white dial topped with Roman hour markers adds to the classic design of this timepiece.
