Description: Omega Seamaster
Pre-owned Omega ref. LL5287-1 (circa 1960s) is a fascinating mid-century edition of the Seamaster. While it's true that Omega produced many iterations of the collection during the same era, this watch is particularly collection-worthy with its striking gold-filled case, Art Deco-style applied Arabic numerals, and silver sunburst dial with light patina. The attractive color of the lume and the applied Omega and Omega logos in a similar style to the 3/6/9/12 markers add to the charm and unique aesthetic of the watch.
The Omega LL5287-1 for sale here also has a signed dial, case, movement, crown, and crystal. The inside of the case back is signed by both Omega and Ross, a US-based company that often supplied cases for Omega watches during this time. Furthermore, the movement is marked by the US import code "OXG," signifying that this watch was made for the US market. Featuring a thin automatic movement and a 14k gold-filled 34mm case, this vintage Omega offers collectors a lot of value and will appeal to men and women alike.
