| Case: | Excellent stainless steel case with surface wear from use. The case has been polished. This come with a later black bezel that has faded to a dark grey color. The bezel has some wear and scratches. Back of caseback is stamped: 16750. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined. Acrylic crystal is in clean condition and shows little signs of use. |

PRE-OWNED WATCH CONDITION EXAMINATION
This Rolex watch is in overall great, honest condition with surface wear on the bracelet, case and bezel. The bezel has aged to a lovely grey color and is a later replacement. The hands are later service replacements and they do not glow anymore. The bracelet is a later replacement with some stretch between the links.
Rolex GMT-Master 16750
The combination of the grey bezel with the white colored lume gives this GMT an unexpected and handsome aesthetic. When people think of a GMT-Master they will usually envision a blue and red "Pepsi" bezel, so this one with the grey bezel gives the watch a whole new look. It is perfect for those who want something with character, but want to be under the radar.
Rolex came out with the reference 16750 in 1980 and it would be in production until around 1988. It can also be considered a transitional reference. Rolex upgraded the movement, but kept the acrylic crystal and matte dials for the early examples. Rolex eventually switched to glossy dials with white gold surrounding the hour markers giving the watch a more modern look that we still see today. The combination of the matte dial and upgraded movement gives you the best of both worlds, vintage aesthetic with the modern creature comforts of quick-set date.

The watch was just as described, in fact, better than described online. The transaction was simple, secure, and seamless.
This was my first time working with Bob's and the process could not have been better from my perspective. The watch was a gift for my son who enjoys watches...this will be his 6th Rolex. I didn't participate in the conversations but he had several several questions which the staff fully answered. I entered when it was time to settle up. The customer service was great and the watch arrived very quickly. I'm not the the watch enthusiast in the family, but I see no reason why we wouldn't be looking for # 7 with Bob's as well.
