The Rolex 16750 matte dial GMT Master for sale here today is a very desirable example of the brand's notorious pilot's watch. The ref. 16750 came to market in the early 1980s, replacing the 4-digit ref. 1675, and brought with it a higher-beat calibre 3075 movement with a Quickset function. The ref. 16750 was available with either a matte or glossy dial during its production, with the matte variation being rarer. This particular secondhand Rolex features Tritium lume in a creamy patina, adding even further to the character of the dial. This example of the line also boasts what many collector's in-the-know lovingly refer to as a "Pepsi" bezel, which features a striking red and blue aluminum insert. The watch was just as described, in fact, better than described online. The transaction was simple, secure, and seamless.
This was my first time working with Bob's and the process could not have been better from my perspective. The watch was a gift for my son who enjoys watches...this will be his 6th Rolex. I didn't participate in the conversations but he had several several questions which the staff fully answered. I entered when it was time to settle up. The customer service was great and the watch arrived very quickly. I'm not the the watch enthusiast in the family, but I see no reason why we wouldn't be looking for # 7 with Bob's as well.
