Vintage Rolex Date 1503 - 14k Yellow gold Oyster Rivet
Shortly after Rolex unveiled the first Date watch in the 1950's the 15xx series was introduced. Among the many variations included within this series was the ref. 1503, which offers a handsome 14 karat yellow gold finish, a fluted bezel, and a modest 34mm Oyster case measurement. As an older pre owned Rolex, the ref. 1503 is powered by either a calibre 1565 or 1575 perpetual movement, both of which do not offer a Quickset function. The case is worn on a rivet Oyster bracelet secured by a Fliplock clasp and features an acrylic crystal over the dial, giving this gold Date 1503 exceptional character.
