Pre-owned Rolex OysterQuartz ref 17013 (1979). Rolex spent several years designing the quartz movement for this collection. The result was a battery-powered movement that was incredibly reliable. The series was the product of what many avid collectors refer to as the Quartz Crisis of the 1970s that saw an influx in demand for Quartz watches. Rolex developed the line to keep up with the emerging trend. The ref. 17013 that you see here today is a two-tone Datejust example of the OysterQuartz characterized by an angular case, an integrated bracelet, and a handsome champagne dial.
