Description: Rolex Daytona 116523
Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116523 (2000) was the first two-tone Rolex chronograph to utilize an in-house movement. Before Rolex released the caliber 4130 in 2000, the Big Crown relied on outsourced movements, most notably the Zenith "El Primero" automatic movement. Bringing the development and production of their chronograph movements in-house was a significant step in creating the masterpiece as we know it today. Ref. 116523 is a desirable Yellow Rolesor edition of that first in-house generation, featuring a flawless steel and yellow gold finish, a matching yellow gold Tachymeter bezel, and a contemporary slate dial decorated with Super-LumiNova.
