Description: Rolex Daytona 16518
Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 16518 (1996) is a coveted Zenith Rolex. Before the Crown brought the production of its chronograph movements entirely in-house, it relied on the "El Primero" movement made by Zenith. Rolex would then modify the outsourced movement to meet their requirements, resulting in the caliber 4030 powering this legendary model. With the new movement came a slightly more contemporary Oyster case featuring crown guards and a 40mm diameter. Ref. 16518 is a very sought-after yellow gold model featuring a matching gold Tachymeter bezel, a supple leather strap, and a remarkable white dial decorated with yellow gold Arabic hour markers, a vibrant red Daytona logo, and black chronograph registers.
