The Rolex Daytona is an impressive tool watch. Built for speed, this reference 16523 features a Tachymeter bezel crafted from 18 karat yellow gold that can be adjusted by the wearer to measures speeds of up to 400 kilometers/hr. Additionally, the case features side pushers and counters on the dial that act as a stopwatch, a feature that is intended to time laps and other race times. This particular reference also boasts a perpetual movement that is crafted to withstand shocks and temperature variations, an extremely important feature while spending hours racing around the Daytona Speedway. A flat link Oyster bracelet and folding Oysterlock clasp offer a secure hold that won't pop open or float around the wrist. While the men's Daytona sports watch was developed for use while driving, this two-tone variation also makes a striking statement piece for casual and formal occasions.
