Basel World 2015 marked the first time a Rolex watch was released on a rubber strap bracelet. In true Rolex fashion, the rubber strap wasn't just any rubber strap, however. Patented by Rolex as Oystersteel, the bracelet features an innovative design that includes enveloping Titanium and Nickel blades within high-performance elastomer. The underside of the bracelet features a cushion system that allows the bracelet to curve comfortably around the wrist. The ref. 116655 also features a stunning ceramic bezel insert with a matte and polished finish as well as a matte black Maxi dial topped with rose gold-trimmed luminous hour markers and Mercedes hands, a handsome 18 karat rose gold Everose finish, and a chronometer-rated Perpetual movement with self-winding.
