The Rolex Yacht-Master was the first brand new Rolex introduced to the market in decades. Some believe that the famed regatta tool watch is based on the Submariner, featuring a similar case and bracelet, a 60-minute bezel, and identical Mercedes hands. What sets it apart from the Submariner is the use of a bi-directional bezel mounting, a sand-blasted finish on the bezel, and a lower depth-rating 100 meters.
