Rolex Date 115234 Steel Oyster
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date is a favorite among hardcore collectors for its iconic design set and smaller size and weight. If the watch looks familiar, that's because it closely resembles the iconic Datejust, which came to market in 1945 and was responsible for introducing the Rolex catalog to the first automatically changing date display. What sets the Date apart from the Datejust is the slightly smaller 34mm case, compared to the Datejust at 36mm in diameter. Ref. 115234 is an iconic 6-digit Date featuring 904L-grade Oystersteel, a silky flat-link Oyster bracelet, and an 18k white gold fluted bezel. The dial exudes just the right amount of opulence with alternating diamond and white gold Arabic hour markers.
