Rolex SpeedKing Model 6430
The men's Rolex Oyster Speedking plays a unique role in the brand's history. Upon returning home from war, Hans Wilsdorf allowed British POW's to choose any watch for his catalog and pay for it when they can. As one of the least expensive timepieces in the Rolex catalog at the time, the Speedking was a popular choice among these men and has since become a very desirable collector's item among those with entry-level budgets. The line runs on a hand-wound movement, allowing it to maintain a slimmer profile on the wrist, and also features a modest 29mm case diameter, a subtle stainless steel finish, and a silver dial topped with elegant applied index hour markers, central hands, and creamy luminous plots.
