Vintage Rolex Daytona 6239
Vintage Daytona’s are some collector’s grail watch. They are out in the market if you look hard enough but most of them have serious flaws. It’s not uncommon to see Daytona’s offered with damaged or custom dials. It’s also not rare to see the incorrect or aftermarket bezel on them also. Here at Bob’s Watches we strive very hard to provide only the best possible vintage watches, as original as possible and, of course, 100% Genuine Rolex parts. We are proud to offer this 6239 Daytona to you in fantastic condition!
This 6239 Stainless steel Daytona was manufactured in 1966 and is in incredible condition for a watch that is 51 years old. The steel case shows slight signs of age but still shows off its strong lines well. The 300uph bezel is in equally good condition with all numbers easy to read and all paint still intact. The dial is the true center of attention on this piece however. The silver paint is in perfect condition and the black subdials are also free from flaws. The luminous markers are all present and intact with the sole exception of the 3 o’clock marker. It has small chip out of it but is not noticeable with the naked eye. We point it out because we want our customers to be completely informed about our watches no matter how small the flaw. This Daytona is presented to you on a genuine Rolex leather strap and a Rolex tang buckle. Rounding out this incredible package is a rarity on a 50 plus year old watch: the box and papers are included!
