Pre-owned Rolex Daytona ref 116518 (2021) was the first yellow gold model to sport both a ceramic bezel and a rubber - aka Oysterflex - bracelet. The road to this contemporary configuration began in 2015 when Rolex unveiled its proprietary rubber strap made from high-performance black elastomer within the Yacht-Master collection. Ceramic bezels were added to the mix just a year later on the stainless steel edition of the iconic chronograph. Ref. 116518 joined the collection's ranks in 2017, bringing both contemporary design elements together on one glorious watch. Now that the 1165XX generation has been discontinued, we expect this history-making Rolex will become a prized collector's item.
