Pre-owned Rolex GMT-Master II ref 116718 (2007) was the first solid gold model to sport a ceramic bezel. Previous editions of the watch were outfitted with aluminum. Ref. 116718 also helped usher in a new generation of Rolex GMTs, complete with what is now called the "Super Case" with wider lugs and a larger crown guard. The hour markers and hands are significantly larger than the previous 5-digit models. The result is a watch that exudes contemporary elegance while holding fast to the enduring design codes that have made it a classic in watchmaking. The bezel is still outfitted with a 24-hour scale for dual timekeeping, and the dial has four centrally mounted hands.
