Pre-Owned Rolex GMT-Master II ref 16718 (1990) is the all-gold edition of the second generation GMT Master II. The iconic pilot's watch initially debuted in the 1950s. However, it was replaced with the current collection in the 1980s featuring an independent GMT hand. Ref. 16718 and its counterparts represent the second generation of Rolex GMTs, which introduced the then-new collection to a slimmer case and movement. This model remained in production until the 2000s when it was discontinued and replaced with the first all-gold ceramic bezel Rolex GMT and is a prized collector's item in many watch collecting circles. As a product of the early 1990s, this example features a sapphire crystal, caliber 3185 mechanical movement, and Superluminova lume.
