Before Rolex introduced the current-production Day-Date 40, the largest case size option for the iconic President was the Day-Date II you see here, with a robust and rather luxurious 41mm case. Just 1mm larger, it has proportions and an overall aesthetic that are different from what Rolex is currently putting out, and that's exactly why it remains a staunch collector's favorite. This example is a classic yellow gold model, complete with a matching champagne dial and the famous three-link president bracelet. What sets this model apart is, of course, its larger case size and the dazzling, diamond-encrusted bezel. The dial mirrors the opulence of the bezel with matching diamond hour markers.
