Pre-owned Rolex Sky-Dweller 326938 (2021) traces back to the very beginning of the collection. When Rolex introduced the Sky-Dweller in 2012, it launched with just three references: the 326938 in yellow gold and the 326939 in white gold, both on a matching gold bracelet, and the 326135 in Everose gold on leather. That was it. No steel, no Rolesor. Just full precious metal models. The lineup has expanded quite a bit since then, which makes this configuration feel closer to the original vision of the watch. The Sky-Dweller is Rolex’s most complicated modern watch, but it’s surprisingly intuitive once you understand it. It displays two time zones, with local time shown by the main hands and a second time zone displayed on an off-center 24-hour disc. The annual calendar is built into the dial as well, using small apertures above each hour marker to indicate the month, while the date sits at 3 o’clock. Even better, it only needs to be adjusted once a year. What really sets it apart is the Ring Command bezel. You rotate the bezel to select which function you want to adjust, then use the crown to make the change. It sounds complex, but in practice, it’s one of the more clever systems Rolex has ever produced.
