This Rolex watch is in great, honest vintage condition. The case is strong with scratches, some nicks, and wear. The original bevels are still visible, the case appears to have been lightly polished. The bezel ring has remained fairly sharp and the bezel insert has aged over the years. The red-back bezel has scratches and shows signs of wear and fading. The blue portion shows more fading towards the outer edge. The dial is in overall excellent condition with light patina. The lume on the dial has aged to an even lovely custard color. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has aged to a custard color very similar to the lume on the dial. The bracelet is in good, honest condition with some wear, scratches and some stretch between the links.
The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials. This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 4 dial and the defining characteristic of this is the placement of the "M" in "Master" over the "C" in chronometer, the right vertical bar sits right on top of it.
This circa 1972 example is in overall beautiful and honest condition. It features a lovely "Pepsi" bezel that has aged uniquely over the years. The blue portion has faded and the red has a nice cherry hue to it. The lume has all aged to a striking custard color adding to the overall charm of the watch. The watch comes from the original owner and they retained the box, hang tags, and product literature over the years.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
