Rolex Oyster Perpetual 5050
The Rolex 5050 for sale here is a remarkable example of the iconic vintage Oyster Perpetual with a striking bubble back, acrylic crystal, and radium dial. Rolex released the Oyster Perpetual to market in the 1950s, featuring a time-only dial, waterproof Oyster case, and self-winding Perpetual movement. The example you see here was produced in 1961, just a few years before the company switched from Radium to Tritium. The elegant, tapered hands, older-style hour markers, and lumed plots in a lovely patina add to this pre-owned Rolex's immense charm and history.
