The innovative watch was developed in the 1950s as a tool to help pilots more conveniently calculate various stats while in the air, such as climbing speeds and fuel consumption. This was done by including a Slide Rule bezel and a chronograph function. Today, this unique design set is part of what makes the collection so recognizable and sought-after.
