The 39.5mm case wears with that familiar Grand Seiko balance. Clean lines, distortion-free finishing, and a box-shaped sapphire crystal that pays tribute to early references from the 1960s. The black dial is slightly retro but still quite sharp and modern, with long, faceted hour markers and a finely printed 1/5-second track, a detail reserved for the brand's Hi-Beat models. Inside is caliber 9S86, a 36,000 bph GMT movement with a second time zone to be tracked via the red GMT hand. It’s a practical complication, especially for travel, without complicating the dial.
