Ladies Rolex Datejust 69174
Rolex made several updates to their iconic Datejust watch during the 1950's, most notably was the introduction of their stylish ladies model. With it came a smaller case that was designed with the perfect proportions for women's wrists. This era also brought with it the introduction of a date-change mechanism that had been fine-tuned to switch over at mid-night, as opposed to the delay that earlier Datejusts had experienced. By this time, the automatically changing date window had also been equipped with a magnifying Cyclops lens, making the date incredibly easy to read at-a-glance. These refined features can be appreciated in the reference 69174 along with a sleek and modern design that features glittering diamond hour makers and sturdy stainless steel.
