Pre-owned Rolex Cellini ref. 50535 (2019) did something rather remarkable when it hit the market back in 2017: it brought back the Moon Phase, a complication not seen in the brand's catalog since the 1950s. And it did so in spectacular fashion. The complication is neatly placed right above 6 o'clock, featuring the moon set against a blue sea of stars. Like other Cellinis from this era, long, elegant stick hour markers circle the dial alongside an intersecting minute track and long, tapered hands. ref. 50535 also features a date scale surrounding the hour markers, with a crescent-shaped hand indicating the date. The watch is cased in Everose, the brand's proprietary 18k rose gold alloy introduced in 2005, and houses the caliber 3195, a self-winding movement exclusive to the Cellini Moon Phase.
