Rolex Date 115200
Rolex introduced the jump date mechanism in 1945 alongside the Datejust. These models measured 36mm in diameter and were incredibly successful. Just a few years later, in the 1950s, Rolex took advantage of the massive popularity of their Datejust watch and released a slightly smaller variant via the Date in 34mm. Both models remain pillars of the Rolex collection. Reference 115200 is a contemporary example of the Oyster Perpetual Date featuring 904L Oystersteel, sapphire crystal, Twinlock screw-down crown, a coveted chronometer rating, and a striking black dial.
