Pre-owned Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Selfwinding ref. 15210ST.OO.A348KB.01 comes from one of the most significant new collections AP has introduced in decades. Code 11.59 debuted in 2019, giving the manufacture a contemporary alternative to the Royal Oak while showcasing some surprisingly complex case architecture. From the front, the 41mm stainless steel case appears traditionally round, but an octagonal middle case is tucked between the circular bezel and caseback, a subtle tribute to a shape deeply associated with Audemars Piguet. This example features a “Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50” dial with a textured pattern that adds considerable depth, framed by a contrasting grey inner bezel. White gold hour markers and hands are filled with luminescent material, while a date window sits at 3 o’clock. Inside is AP’s self-winding caliber 4302, visible through the sapphire caseback and with approximately 70 hours of power reserve.
